Bimetal Mirror 2
For Bimetal Mirrors, two dissimilar metals: Stainless Steel and Brass were tig brazed, ground smooth, and mirror polished for a seamless color change. The somewhat distorted reflection as a result of the oil canning produced by the different shrink rates of the metals and the subtle wavy lines of the welds are satisfying imperfections.
